Bits of Freedom is committed to strengthening our rights and freedoms in the digital realm. Constructive where possible, incisive where necessary. By influencing legislation, campaigning, and raising awareness.
What is your role?
The campaigner plays an essential role in this. Your work consists of a mix of campaigning and movement-building. You ensure that as many people as possible are involved in our work. You also help other NGOs understand how injustice is reinforced by technology. And how the internet can actually contribute to bringing us closer to an open and just society.
Here’s what you’ll be doing specifically
You are the sole campaigner at Bits of Freedom. That means you’ll be working at all levels, from long-term strategy to day-to-day implementation. Broadly speaking, these are your main responsibilities:
We have a team of 10 people. As a campaigner, you’ll work closely with our researchers, communications strategists, and fundraiser. You’ll report to the director.
