Thanks to your efforts, business-related functional issues are identified and translated into detailed changes in the form of user stories—at a level of detail that allows them to be handed off to the software developers. In doing so, you directly contribute to a happy, healthy, and active Netherlands. As a Business Analyst, you excel by:

• Describe the relevant business processes and related components (such as applications, interfaces, etc.) and how IT supports them. You ensure that this information is provided in detail and communicated to the development teams so that they can implement it. You provide advice on any bottlenecks and risks.
• staying up to date on opportunities and developments in your field.
• coordinate and consult with various stakeholders, such as product managers, architects, developers, etc.
• You serve as the bridge between Business and IT and take the lead in analyzing and implementing complex changes.

You’ll also want to know this: the focus is on defining and analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional and technical solutions. The environment is broad and dynamic, and you’ll work closely with IT departments. Requests come from (strategic) projects, business teams, and DevOps teams. You’ll develop business requirements from both a functional and technical perspective. This is an analytical and challenging role in which you’ll be given a great deal of responsibility.

Your talent

• a completed associate's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering
• Experience with modeling techniques such as BPMN 2.0 and UML. As well as tools such as Enterprise Architect, Miro, Confluence, and Jira
• At least 5 years of experience and a solid understanding of business processes and information needs
• Familiarity with the Agile methodology is a plus
• You are a team player, have strong communication skills (fluent in spoken and written Dutch and English), and possess strong analytical skills

Your score

As a Business Analyst, we offer you:

• A salary ranging from €4,400 to €6,300 gross per month, depending on your experience
• an attractive bonus plan
• a full-time position (40 hours per week)
• For €3.00, you can enjoy a healthy and varied lunch in our company cafeteria

Our office in Rijswijk is generally where you’ll be working, but you’ll mainly work wherever best suits your tasks.
