Do you enjoy working with authors, colleagues, translators, and prepress specialists to create the best and most beautiful books? Then we’re looking for you!

What will you be doing?

• preparing copy for production
• handling of communications between authors, translators, external editors, proofreaders, designers, and Meulenhoff Boekerij
• monitoring the production process
• maintaining and entering data into the relevant computerized systems
• preparing the editorial calendar
• monitoring the schedule
• overseeing the production of the video footage

Profile and Skills

• college-level academic and intellectual ability
• excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
• good command of spoken and written English
• strong graphic design skills
• strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• At least 4 years of work experience in an editorial role
