Are you skilled at managing complex schedules, and do you thrive on organizing appointments and meetings—and everything else that goes along with it? We are looking for an executive assistant to work 24 hours a week for our new vice president.
As an executive assistant, you will support the vice chair of the PO-Raad, who will begin working with you in March 2025. Your responsibilities will include organizing and managing the vice chair’s schedule, appointments, email, and school visits, ensuring that the vice chair’s day runs smoothly and that they are well prepared.
Despite your busy schedule, you stay on top of things and know how to set the right priorities. For every meeting, the documents are complete and all practical details are taken care of. You also have no trouble keeping track of deadlines and agreements.
You will work closely with the vice-chair, the chair’s assistant, and the board and executive secretaries. It is important that you are able to work independently and take the initiative when there is room for improvement or when things do not go as planned. Trust is always the starting point at the PO-Raad.
The PO-Raad is the sector organization for primary education. The association represents the interests of school organizations in primary education, special primary education, and (secondary) special education. In addition, the PO-Raad promotes innovative projects and knowledge sharing in primary and special education.
You will be working within the Communication, Public Affairs, and Association Development cluster, where about fifteen colleagues are dedicated to supporting the board, handling communications, advocating for our interests, and developing our association.
Please send your resume and cover letter to vacature@po-raad.nl by November 26. If you have any questions about the position, please contact Monique Visser, Cluster Manager for Communications, Public Affairs, and Association Development, at m.visser@poraad.nl or 06 516 919 00.
