We are looking for a Video Editor to join “De Sociëteit,” our inclusive weekly talk show on NPO2 covering society, politics, art, and culture, starting August 22, 2023.
In a Rotterdam studio, Ajouad El Miloudi welcomes surprising guests for the conversation of the week in his own laid-back and charming style. The new season of “De Sociëteit” airs every Sunday evening at 10:40 p.m. on NPO2, starting September 3.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Staying up to date on current events to stay in the loop on the week’s hottest topics;
- Actively participate in editorial meetings and offer creative and content-related suggestions for visual material to be used in the broadcast;
- Gain a thorough understanding of the facts and background of the selected topics and, in consultation with the editorial team, find relevant visual material to accompany them;
- You will be responsible for selecting, creating, and editing the opening sequences—as well as providing stills and photographic material for use in the show and online.
This is you:
- Experience in a similar role;
- Capable of creating compelling montages not only from a technical standpoint but also in terms of content;
- Familiar with Immix, Interplay, Photoshop, and WordPress (or similar blogging platforms);
- Team player, dedicated, able to handle stress, creative, punctual, and self-reliant;
- Willing and available to work on weekends.
Here's what we offer:
A 3-month temporary contract. Depending on your knowledge and experience, this position will be compensated within salary grade G (€2,869.55 – €4,377.65) of the broadcasting collective bargaining agreement.
NTR offers a 6% December bonus, 8% vacation pay, a travel allowance, over 5 weeks of vacation per year, annual salary increases, a group pension plan, and a monthly contribution toward your health insurance.
