A glimpse into the world of this role
As a corporate lawyer, you will be part of the Executive Support department, alongside two communications advisors, two strategic advisors, the executive secretary, and the executive secretaries.
You serve as the legal sparring partner and strategic advisor to the executive board and management, providing advice on matters related primarily to corporate law, contract law, procurement law, and employment law.
This may involve, for example, contracts to be entered into with clients or the City of Amsterdam, as well as matters such as housing, the divestiture or sale of properties, or employment law issues such as the transfer of a business.
Where necessary, you will draft policies, procedures, and contracts and ensure that your knowledge of the relevant areas of law remains up to date. You will also maintain a keen eye on governance within Pantar and advise the executive board on these matters. In addition, you will research and analyze the legal risks associated with the various processes within Pantar that may arise in the short, medium, and long term, and you will report on and advise regarding these matters.
You will use your legal expertise to contribute to the procurement strategy and serve as the point of contact for our procurement specialist. You will also provide strategic advice, particularly to the privacy officer, regarding privacy and information security.
Finally, you provide both solicited and unsolicited advice to all levels within Pantar regarding compliance with laws and regulations relevant to Pantar
Analytical skills, enabling you to quickly identify which laws and regulations are relevant to Pantar and on which topics your advice is needed. In addition, you write clearly and concisely and have a broad knowledge of Dutch law. Finally, you possess strong communication skills, allowing you to easily convey your expert-based perspective to the organization.
You have a university degree in Dutch law and several years of experience as an in-house counsel, preferably in a similar organization. Knowledge of the WSW and the Participation Act is also preferred.
