In this exciting and dynamic role as Assistant Controller, you will not only serve as the Controller’s right-hand person, but also play a key role in both project and financial oversight within the organization. You will guide project leaders through the process of budget preparation, implementation, and accountability for various projects. You serve as the link between project execution and the resources available for them. In doing so, you will utilize the project administration module in AFAS.
In addition to providing project support, you will also be closely involved in performing balance sheet reviews. In this role, you will ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting and analysis.
You will prepare progress reports for management and provide them with both solicited and unsolicited advice on project allocation, progress, and opportunities for collaboration between projects and organizations. You identify and monitor risks within the projects and communicate these to the associations. In this multifaceted financial role, you bring a strategic perspective and a hands-on approach. Together with the controller, you contribute to the handling of processes and the P&C cycle. A wonderfully varied job!
You have a strong affinity for finance, balance sheet reviews, and project-based work. You enjoy the challenge of making the most of the available resources within the given parameters to achieve the goal. You are familiar with the AFAS system or are able to quickly learn it. When you identify opportunities to improve financial and administrative processes and information sharing related to projects, you know how to bring them to the forefront. You are a team player, possess analytical skills, and are communicative and results-oriented. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and value continuous professional development. You have at least a college-level education and a degree in finance.
