Are you a financial all-rounder? Do you enjoy maintaining internal and external relationships and keeping projects on track from a financial and administrative standpoint?
As an Assistant Project Controller, you will serve as the controller’s right-hand person in this exciting and dynamic role. You will support project managers throughout the entire project lifecycle—from budget preparation and execution to final reporting. You will act as the link between project execution and the resources allocated to them, utilizing the project administration module in AFAS.
You will prepare progress reports for management and provide them with both solicited and unsolicited advice on project allocation, progress, and opportunities for collaboration between projects and organizations. You identify and monitor risks within the projects and communicate these to the associations. In this multifaceted financial role, you bring a strategic perspective and a hands-on approach. Together with the controller, you contribute to the handling of processes and the P&C cycle. A wonderfully varied job!
You have a strong interest in finance and project-based work. You enjoy the challenge of making the most of the available resources within the given parameters to achieve the goal. You are familiar with the AFAS system or are able to quickly learn it. When you identify opportunities to improve financial and administrative processes and information sharing related to projects, you know how to bring them to the forefront. You are a team player with strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a results-oriented mindset. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and value continuous professional development. You possess at least a college-level education.
The VO-raad and the PO-Raad are the sector organizations for primary and secondary education. These associations represent the common interests of school organizations in primary education, secondary education, special primary education, and (secondary) special education. Through visits, networking events, and the General Members’ Meeting, our members are involved in shaping the positions of the VO-raad and the PO-Raad. This makes the councils authoritative advocates. In addition, both councils drive innovative projects and knowledge sharing in education. Quality is our top priority.
