
Where the history of the Dutch Bibliography, 36 terabytes of archival data, and the WOR converge. That is the KB in The Hague. And it is the place where you, as our administrative secretary, provide organizational support to the KB’s Works Council (OR), enabling it to focus fully on its employee participation role and to represent the interests of all KB colleagues.
And there’s more. You are the administrative secretary of the Works Council who:
draws up each meeting agenda in collaboration with the Works Council’s executive committee.
prepares and publishes the minutes of the Works Council meetings.
handles the paperwork for consultation and approval processes.
maintains the Works Council mailbox.
organizes the Works Council's annual training session.
helps organize the Works Council elections every three years.
In addition, the weekly Works Council meetings allow you to stay in close contact with all Works Council members, giving you a deep understanding of what’s happening within the KB. You also serve as the constant point of contact responsible for the annual recurring planning tasks (such as drawing up the meeting schedule and organizing meetings with our portfolio holders, members of the executive team, and the company physician).
At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
several years of experience in a similar role, such as an administrative assistant or executive assistant.
Experience with taking minutes, managing schedules, and filing.
experience with planning tasks and organizing things like training sessions, events, or team activities.
reliability and integrity.
political and organizational sensitivity.
knowledge of or interest in matters related to the Works Council.
Experience in a works council role is preferred.
a gross monthly salary between €2,881.00 and €3,905.00 (pay grade 7).
to begin with a one-year contract with the possibility of a permanent position.
