
The Amsterdam Museum (AM) is Amsterdam’s premier city museum, telling the story of the city’s past, present, and future. We foster insight, wonder, and connection among visitors and residents. For the coming years, the Amsterdam Museum has an ambitious agenda featuring major projects such as multiple exhibitions at our temporary home in the Hermitage Amsterdam and at Huis Willet-Holthuysen, as well as innovative museum projects at various locations throughout the city. For our main location, the former Burgerweeshuis complex on Kalverstraat, the AM is preparing for a large-scale and extensive renovation. As an all-around IT staff member, you will work in the Day-to-Day Operations team within the Operations Department. The team is responsible for providing support for day-to-day operations in both public areas and staff areas at six different locations throughout the city. The museum works with an external IT partner.

With your big-picture perspective, you are able to contribute to the development of relevant policies, and you are also willing to provide hands-on assistance with IT support issues.
You will be working at an organization in the heart of Amsterdam with a staff of about 140. Because the Amsterdam Museum is constantly evolving, there are opportunities for professional growth in this role. Depending on your availability, the position is open for 24 to 32 hours per week.
