Are you our new strategy consultant who will specialize in the digital domain? Will you advise and support our board of directors and executive team on digital matters to help them develop the right strategy? Then apply now!
As a strategy consultant, you will lead multiple initiatives in the digital domain. These include online platforms, proprietary platforms/streaming, distribution of audio and video via third-party platforms (such as YouTube), new digital developments (such as AI), and new media formats. Proactively and at the request of the board of directors or the executive team, you will research digital products and services and analyze them in depth. Together with the board of directors and the executive team, you will develop a vision for our digital proposition and formulate recommendations and options for our digital strategy. Once this is implemented, you will, of course, play an active role in it.
As a strategy consultant, you will work closely with your immediate colleagues, the relevant management teams, and staff departments, and—on certain projects—with the broadcasters.
In addition to the digital domain, you will also be able to contribute to other policy areas within the department.
As a strategy consultant, you are smart, enthusiastic, confident, flexible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You have a wide range of interests, can analyze problems quickly, think strategically, and are creative in finding solutions.
You can’t help but feel a sense of urgency when reading the following questions: Which programming mix best meets the needs of the audience? How do we continue to reach young people in a world of Netflix, YouTube, and social media? How do we strike a balance between advancing the goals of public broadcasting as a whole and the position of individual broadcasters within that framework?
As a strategy consultant, you closely monitor developments in the digital sphere, paying particular attention to content, audiences, and media behavior.
The Strategy and Stakeholder Management team facilitates the development and implementation of the public broadcaster’s strategy and is responsible for developing and managing key strategic relationships. In addition, each strategic advisor has a specific area of expertise.
The team consists of seven advisors who cover the NPO’s entire strategic and policy spectrum, each drawing on their specific areas of expertise and working closely together.
Everyone with different needs or work styles is welcome;
At the NPO, we have a hybrid work model and offer flexible working hours;
You will receive a fixed year-end bonus equal to 6% of your annual salary;
You will receive 200 vacation hours (based on a 36-hour workweek);
We have an NPO Academy to help you further your professional development.
The position of Strategy Advisor is a permanent position (one-year contract) for 36 hours per week, with a gross monthly salary ranging from €4,007 to €6,485 based on a 36-hour workweek. We determine the salary based on education, experience, and equal pay (m/f/x).
