
Het Nieuwe Instituut is both a national institute and a museum
for architecture, design, and digital culture. Located in the city of architecture
Rotterdam, in the Museumpark, home to the Kunsthal Rotterdam and
Het Nieuwe Instituut is located next door to the Boijmans Van Beuningen Depot
various exhibition spaces, a museum shop, a museum café (with
the city’s most beautiful terrace), an auditorium, educational spaces, and

The New Institute
Het Nieuwe Instituut focuses on major developments in the
society, such as the housing shortage, the energy transition, the

public space. Designers, including architects and digital creators, can

showcases the work of designers, connects people, collects,

Marketing & Communications Consultant
As a Marketing & Communications Consultant, you will be responsible for strategic
advisory role and ensure that the visibility, image, and audience reach of Het

As a Consultant, you will work closely with your colleagues in the marketing department
and a communications team, which consists of various specialists in the field of
media, target audiences, fundraising, sponsorship, corporate events, online
marketing. There are two other consultants working in the department, one of whom
coordinates all project-related marketing and communications, while the other
focuses on the website and all other online components.

We offer
We are starting with a one-year contract. If your performance is satisfactory, there is
prospect of renewal. A competitive benefits package in line with market standards
under the museum collective bargaining agreement, scale 10.
The salary ranges from, depending on education and experience,
EUR 3,208 and EUR 4,196 per month for full-time (36-hour) employment (salaries
