Het Nieuwe Instituut is the national museum for
architecture, design, and digital culture. Located in the city of architecture
Rotterdam, in the Museumpark, home to the Kunsthal Rotterdam and
Het Nieuwe Instituut is located next door to the Boijmans Van Beuningen Depot
various exhibition spaces, a museum shop, a museum café (with
the city’s most beautiful terrace), an auditorium, educational spaces, and
a garden. The architecture collection managed by the institute is
consult in the freely accessible Research Centre.
The
Nieuwe Instituut focuses on major developments in the
society, such as the housing shortage, the energy transition, the
the rise of artificial intelligence, mobility, or the use of
public space. Designers, including architects and digital creators, can
make a significant contribution to those developments. Het Nieuwe Instituut
showcases the work of designers, connects people, collects,
develops and shares knowledge.
Consultant
Marketing & Communications
As a ConsultantIn Marketing & Communications, you will serve in a strategic advisory role and ensure
that the visibility, image, and public reach of Het Nieuwe Instituut will be
included. Your package includes, among other things:
- National and international press
- Brand development and visual identity
- Marketing in collaboration with Rotterdam and others
Festivals, Museum Card, Rotterdam Pass, Rotterdam Partners, professional organizations,
schools, educational institutions, hotels, and transportation providers
- Campaigns, including those conducted through commercial channels and
social media
- CRM
Marketing
& Communications Team
IfAs a consultant, you will work closely with your colleagues in marketing and
communications team, which consists of various staff members in the field of
fundraising, sponsorship, corporate events, online marketing. In the department
two other consultants are employed there, one of whom handles all project-related
one coordinates marketing and communications, while the other focuses on the website and
all other online components.

- The institute's visibility in the media
- Contribution to the marketing communications policy
- Strategic marketing communication initiatives
- Knowledge of the world surrounding the institute
