Does supporting professionals in their professional development energize you? And are you someone who both pioneers new approaches and brings structure to the process? If so, come work at the PO-Raad and contribute to our PO Academy.
You will develop and coordinate professional development offerings, such as learning pathways, masterclasses, e-learning courses, (learning) networks, and (online) knowledge products. You will do this with a long-term vision and based on the needs of our members: what is needed to truly help schools and school boards address a specific issue?
In this role, you will work closely with advisors on various policy areas (such as HR, educational quality, or facilities), members of the PO-Raad association, the management team, and your immediate colleagues at the PO-Academie.
In addition, you will maintain external contacts with, for example, training providers who deliver and/or supervise our programs. You are capable of working independently throughout the entire process, from analysis to problem definition, design, implementation, and thorough evaluation. You also have experience overseeing the bidding process to find the right provider for our needs.
At the PO-Raad, you will be part of the PO-Academy team, alongside a program manager, a back-office staff member, and another learning and development advisor. We believe in working together as a team. We strive for excellence and like to think ahead. That is why we will be taking a number of new steps in the coming period, such as developing new offerings in the area of administrative leadership and strengthening our digital visibility.
The PO-Raad is the sector association for primary education (PO). The association represents the common interests of school boards in primary education, special primary education, and (secondary) special education. Through visits, networking events, and the General Members’ Meeting, our members are involved in shaping the PO-Raad’s positions. This makes the PO-Raad an authoritative advocate. In addition, the PO-Raad drives innovative projects and knowledge sharing for primary and special education. Quality is our top priority. After all, it concerns the future of our children, and thus the future of the Netherlands. That is why we remain committed to quality education for every child.
