At Cordaan, we are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented Employability and Absenteeism Advisor. You will shift the focus from absenteeism to employability and encourage employees to take personal responsibility for their job satisfaction and professional development. Together with managers, you will foster a positive and healthy work environment in which employees can perform at their best.
What will you be doing?
As an Employability and Absenteeism Consultant, you are the go-to expert in absenteeism management and work with managers to develop sustainable solutions for absenteeism and reintegration. You advise and coach them on how to promote job satisfaction and employability. You participate in meetings with employees, join team sessions on health, and encourage employees to take control of their own well-being. By working at various locations in and around Amsterdam, you see the practical side of employability in action.
In addition:
- You actively contribute to quarterly reports and absenteeism analysis, providing input on employees with frequent absences and proposing appropriate actions
- You work closely with HR consultants, HR Business Partners, and the healthcare sector to proactively address absenteeism
- Are you a sounding board for the medical team, and do you translate your expertise in employability into concrete opportunities within Cordaan?
What do we offer?
- A one-year contract for36 hours perweek, with the possibility of a permanent position
- Salary between€3,504.00 and€5,029.00gross per month (FWG 55, based on a 36-hour workweek)
- Year-end bonus of 8.33% and vacation pay of 8%

Who are you?
- You have a college-level education and way of thinking, and a degree in Case Management for Absenteeism (or are willing to obtain one)
- You have experience in absence management and a knack for advising and coaching managers
- You are familiar with the Gatekeeper Improvement Act
- Workforce readiness and absenteeism are truly your area of expertise; you know how to apply the concepts related to workforce readiness and absenteeism in practice
- You take the initiative, think proactively, and are focused on solutions and improvement
- You are enthusiastic, able to clearly convey the message, and raise awareness among both employees and managers, encouraging them to take responsibility for their own employability
Where will you be working?
You will work at various locations in and around Amsterdam, where you will see firsthand how employability and absenteeism are addressed. Flexibility and working from home are part of this role. You will be part of the Vitality & Absenteeism team within HRK&I.
