You are an energetic, creative, proactive, stress-resistant, independent, and flexible colleague with experience in education, training, and drills. You enjoy delving into all aspects of crisis management (particularly Civil Protection) and aspire to a broad and varied range of responsibilities. You connect easily with others and are naturally able to create a safe and stimulating learning environment. Experience within the Safety Region or in crisis management/Civil Protection is a plus.
At the Amsterdam-Amstelland Safety Region, you can work with a great team where you’ll have opportunities to grow in your role.
You will be working for the Crisis Management Division of the Amsterdam Amstelland Safety Region. The Crisis Management Division consists of five teams, and as a Civil Protection Competency Advisor, you will be part of the Civil Protection and Risk and Crisis Communication Team. This is a close-knit and enthusiastic team, characterized by open communication, hard work, and a healthy dose of humor. The team is young; it was established in 2024 and is therefore still in the midst of development. This offers the opportunity to make a real contribution to the establishment and further development of a professional and competent Civil Protection unit.
