Do you find it rewarding to contribute to a well-functioning and inclusive labor market? Are you proactive and skilled at providing advice? We are looking for a consultant with experience in the field. You have a caring nature, a creative mind, and a people-oriented personality. Does this sound like you? Then apply for the position of “Labor Market Consultant” at the CAOP Foundation!
As a consultant, you will primarily carry out work for SBCM, the A&O Fund and knowledge center for social employment. Our mission is to help provide suitable, paid, and sustainable employment for people in vulnerable positions in the labor market. We do this by supporting development companies and the professionals who assist them. We focus on themes such as sustainable employability, lifelong learning and development, suitable work, and healthy and safe working conditions. Due to the Participation Act and the Job Agreement, our field of work is undergoing significant changes. The tight labor market is not yet being sufficiently utilized for people with employment challenges, but it also offers opportunities, especially now. Our partner in this effort is Cedris, the trade association for social development companies in the Netherlands. Our board is composed of social partners: VNG, Cedris, FNV, and CNV.
You will help improve the standing of people with employment challenges. As an advisor, you will be responsible for projects and topics such as on-the-job training, suitable employment, employee participation in the sector, and coordinating grant programs. You will organize conferences for professionals, partners, and employee representatives, and contribute to the long-term employability of employees covered by the SW and Aan de slag collective bargaining agreements. You will take the lead on new initiatives and develop practical knowledge products for the operational practices of social work companies. These include guides, toolkits, meetings, action research, and training sessions. You will draft project proposals for the SBCM board or grant providers and collaborate with employers and professionals in the sector. Within the team of advisors, we collaborate collegially on various themes; you serve as sparring partners and provide mutual support.

o A net internet allowance and a contribution toward health insurance costs.
The CAOP Foundation is committed to a society in which everyone can participate and contribute—a society where people are seen, given opportunities, and where everyone benefits from progress. We achieve this by exploring, connecting, and transforming. We bring people, organizations, and governments together and tackle social issues in collaboration with them. We do this independently and through three mutually reinforcing brands: CAOP, Kennisland, and Sardes. By working together, we can scale successful local initiatives up to national programs, and conversely, we can test policies and put them into practice.
