The KEI Rijswijk Foundation is currently looking for an ACCOUNT MANAGER for 28–32 hours.
The Foundation, based in Rijswijk, is the implementing body for the municipal "Child Benefits" policy. We assist low-income local families with children aged 0 to 17 by providing financial support for educational, social, sports, and cultural activities.
These include:
- Participas, for the purchase of school supplies and sports and winter clothing
- Computer Programming, for students ages 8 and up
- School Trip Policy
But also:
- Birthday boy
- One St. Nicholas for everyone
- Winter Coat Sale
- Bicycle Program for Secondary School Students
What is the role of an account manager?
In the broad role of account manager, you will be responsible for implementing the Kind programs. Based on established goals and budgets, your primary objective will be to promote these programs to the target audience and ensure their successful implementation.As an account manager, you have the freedom to shape your own role. You will serve as the point of contact for the municipality of Rijswijk and be responsible for ensuring the budget is accurate, with support from the treasurer.
What are the responsibilities of an account manager:
- You proactively reach out to parents, assist them in applying for benefits, and hold a walk-in consultation hour once a week
- You will manage client relationships by establishing and maintaining close contact with educational institutions and social partners.
- You are proactive and creative in coming up with new ways to perform your job to the best of your ability.

We ask:
- An independent and self-motivated individual
- Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset; does not shy away from challenges
- Basic technical knowledge and experience with computer systems
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in the social services sector
- A completed MBO+ or HBO degree in social work or a similar field;
- Good people skills, a strong commitment to service, and excellent communication skills.
