As an account manager at the Concertgebouw, you’ll work at one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world, in a place where there’s something new to experience every day. You’ll play a key role in making concerts and events happen. Drawing on your knowledge and experience, and with the support of the event management team, you’ll contribute to the planning and marketing of concerts and ensure that tickets can be sold.

You will serve as the point of contact for organizations wishing to rent venues within the Concertgebouw to host concerts or organize events. You will advise organizers on the feasibility of their plans and draft the contracts. You will ensure that concerts are available for sale and that everyone within the Concertgebouw has access to all information related to the concerts. You are the point of contact for organizers regarding the marketing of their concerts, such as the concert description on the website, including their concert in newsletters, and marketing campaigns. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for scheduling the various venues.
With your enthusiasm and attention to detail, you will build long-term relationships with event organizers so that they continue to organize concerts and events, and you will contribute to the Concertgebouw’s mission to offer our visitors a diverse, high-quality program.
Your main duties and responsibilities are:
You will be part of the Venue Rental Department, a dedicated and vital team of nine colleagues. The team is responsible for renting out and scheduling the various venues and serves as the point of contact for organizers in the preparation of concerts and events. The Venue Rental Department is part of the Production, Venue Rental, and Events Department.
