Support for the biggest challenge of a person’s life. That’s what we stand for at CJG Rijnmond. Because parenting is a responsibility that can sometimes feel overwhelming. And anyone who has ever been a child knows that growing up isn’t always easy either.
We’re here for parents and caregivers who have questions. And for children and young people who could use a little support. We’re always there for them: during pregnancy, at the well-baby clinic, in the classroom and beyond, right up until they turn 18. A healthy and safe childhood for all children in Rotterdam-Rijnmond: that’s what we’re committed to every day.
As an area manager, you will provide leadership to one or more CJG locations and teams of practicing professionals. You bear full responsibility for your location(s). This means ensuring appropriate staffing levels within the established budget, implementing personnel policy, and focusing on development, performance, and absenteeism. You create a safe and well-organized work environment, in which facilities management, safety, and clear consultation structures are properly established.
You are responsible for achieving the agreed-upon results: both the coverage of the basic package and the additional preventive services. You focus on performance, quality, and development, and continuously monitor the status of your area. In doing so, you translate organizational goals and decisions into daily practice and ensure that they have a tangible impact on families and children.
In addition to your role as a manager, you will serve as a process manager for one or more specific areas or target groups. You will design, document, monitor, and improve processes, and play an active role in organization-wide projects and change initiatives. You translate strategic ambitions into tactical and operational plans, including annual plans with clear goals, outcomes, and resources. You also provide input for policy development, grant applications, internal budgets, and accountability reports.
Finally, you will serve as the public face of CJG Rijnmond in your area. You will maintain and strengthen a relevant internal and external network and promote the organization’s presence in neighborhoods and municipalities. You will identify opportunities for collaboration with partners in healthcare and social services, foster cohesion within the care system, and thereby contribute to better support for parents and children.
