As Technical Coordinator at the Concertgebouw, you are the driving force behind the technical aspects that ensure our concerts and events run smoothly. You are responsible for the day-to-day technical management and coordination of these operations, including assigning tasks to technical staff and setting priorities.
In this role, you will be responsible for the regular maintenance, improvement, and repair of equipment, technical installations, and facilities at the Concertgebouw, working closely with colleagues and external suppliers. At the Concertgebouw, we have ambitious goals in the area of sustainability, and this will also be part of your responsibilities.
In short, a varied role with plenty of room for your own ideas and input.
You will be working as part of the Technical Services team, a team of six dedicated colleagues that is part of the Facilities Department. You will report to the Building Management, Facilities, and Technical Services Coordinator.
The work involves the entire Facilities Department, which includes the Reception & Security, Operations, Technical Services, and Theater Technology departments. This team consists of approximately 30 colleagues, and together we ensure that we can pass on the Concertgebouw to future generations.
