All-Around Communications Advisor (28–32 hours per week)

At !WOON, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Communications Advisor (28–32 hours per week) who knows how to reach residents and how to give our organization a powerful voice.

Are you passionate about home decor and the Amsterdam area? And are you a go-getter who loves to roll up your sleeves and get to work? Then we’re looking for you!

The !WOON Foundation helps residents in Amsterdam and the surrounding area with all their housing-related questions and issues. We also provide advice on sustainability and energy conservation. We support tenants, homeowner-residents, and resident groups. We do this with a team of 130 staff members and 150 volunteers.

What will you be doing?

You will play a key role in developing and implementing our communication strategy. You will ensure consistency in our organizational profile and the quality of our communications, contribute ideas on how to present projects and market our services, and develop public awareness campaigns. You will write and edit content for our website and social media channels, and source accompanying visual materials.

Who are you?

• You have a degree in communications and experience in a similar role
• You are familiar with various media channels and know how to use them effectively for each target audience
• With your writing skills, you can write and edit texts for a variety of purposes
• You have knowledge of trends and tools in digital storytelling and content marketing
• You enjoy helping your colleagues showcase their projects effectively
• You don't mind taking on a few very practical tasks as well
