Structure

The House is

managed by a managing director under the supervision of the Supervisory Board

(Board of Trustees). The Board of Trustees consists of 5 members, including a chairperson, a

vice chair and a financial management supervisor. The Supervisory Board

oversees the policies and performance of the executive director,

the achievement of objectives and the general state of affairs in the

foundation. The Board of Trustees acts as the employer for the executive director and serves as

Position

We are looking for a member

for the Supervisory Board with a strong financial background. Candidates for

• Have

  a keen interest in and active engagement with art and heritage

  in general, and in Limburg in particular.

• Demonstrable experience in finance,

  budgets, financial statements, and monitoring liquidity (for example, as an accountant,

  (executive, controller, financial manager, entrepreneur).

• Understanding the dynamics of

  (government-funded) nonprofit organizations.

• The ability to contribute strategic insights and handle complex

  understand financial issues.

• Have experience dealing with

  complex political and administrative relationships.

• Have a relevant network in the

  the world of art, heritage, and culture at the regional level and, preferably, also at

• Have the ability to think strategically

Supervisory Board members are appointed for a four-year term, after which they may be reappointed once

Compensation

There is a policy on vacation pay and expenses in accordance with “the
