Inspiring Manager of Adult Education
As Manager of Education for Ages 18+, you will lead a team of 11 motivated professionals. You are constantly seeking synergy and innovative connections to achieve optimal results. In doing so, you will collaborate with other managers, particularly the manager of the Education Team for Ages 0–18. Your focus will be on making an impact on societal challenges such as literacy and digital inclusion.
In addition to your regular management duties, you are responsible for personnel matters within your team, the development of your department’s services, and monitoring the various funding streams. In your role as Program Manager for Adult Basic Skills, you lead the project leaders in your program to achieve both substantive and financial goals. You contribute to the national network in the field of Education 18+. With your vision, you foster integrated collaboration within your team and the organization.
You
- You have a college or university level of work and thinking.
- You have extensive experience as an inspiring and supportive leader.
- You have knowledge and insight into the field of Basic Skills for Adults (18+) and digital inclusion.
- Translates vision and strategy into a roadmap for their own department.
- Are sensitive to organizational and environmental factors.
- Has a deep understanding of political and administrative dynamics and is able to navigate them effectively.
- You are results-oriented, have strong communication skills, and are good at networking.
- Is able to monitor budgets.
We
- We are offering a one-year contract (with the possibility of permanent employment) for 32 to 36 hours per week, with a gross salary between €5,445 and €6,575 (scale 12, Public Libraries Collective Bargaining Agreement). Plus 8% vacation pay and a 4% year-end bonus.
