As Head of the Knowledge Institute, youwill leada department consisting of a team of policy advisors, researchers, and the Victim Support Academy. In implementing the annual plan, you rely on the leadership of your two strategic policy advisors and the Academy team manager. They coordinate the work within their teams: they monitor the quality, comprehensiveness, planning, and progress of legal and psychosocial policy dossiers and the training offerings. Together, you ensure that knowledge in the field of victims and victims’ rights is gathered, enriched, shared, and actively utilized to improve our services.
You will maintain contacts with research institutions, universities, and relevant partners in the sector, thereby building a valuable network that contributes to the strategic objectives of Victim Support Netherlands. Together with researchers, you will ensure that new insights from scientific research are translated into concrete improvements in policy, training programs, and communication (with third parties).
You not only advise the board and executive management, but also serve as a sounding board for fellow managers and external partners. This means that your work has a visible and significant impact both within the organization and externally.
