Would you like to use your financial expertise to help ensure the safety of over a million people? And do you want to do more than just audit—do you want to have a real impact on how an organization operates more effectively? Then we’re looking for you to join our Control, Information, and Finance department as an Auditor!

As an auditor, you play a crucial role in strengthening internal controls, improving processes, and supporting sound decision-making. You look beyond the numbers and help the organization achieve demonstrable improvement.

What will you be doing?

As an Auditor, you work at the intersection of finance, processes, and internal controls. You play an organization-wide role and ensure that the organization is—and remains—demonstrably “in control.”

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and updating the organization-wide risk profile and advising management on this matter
  • Developing the internal audit plan and organizing the conduct of audits
  • Conducting interviews with process owners and mapping processes, risks, and control measures
  • Conducting audits (detailed internal audits – DIA) from start to finish: from preparation and execution to reporting and follow-up
  • Conducting system-oriented reviews, data analyses, and audits of financial and high-risk processes
  • Assessing processes and policies against laws and regulations (including legality and BBV)
  • Coordinating compliance reporting and contributing to the preparation of the audit
  • Conducting reviews of completed audits and ensuring the quality of the audit process
  • Discussing findings with process owners and management and translating them into concrete, actionable recommendations
  • Serving as a point of contact for management, process owners, and the auditor
  • Monitoring the implementation of improvement measures and contributing to a continuous improvement cycle

In addition, you'll have the freedom to innovate:

  • You will initiate and oversee (IT) audits and other investigations
  • You will develop new forms of internal control, for example through the use of data analysis and automation
  • You will contribute to the continued professionalization of auditing within the organization

Your role is therefore broader than just testing: you are an advisor, a connector, and a catalyst for improvement.

Who are you?

You are an experienced auditor, accountant, or controller with strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of organizational dynamics. You know how to not only assess internal controls but also effectively improve them.

You are not afraid to ask tough questions, even at different levels of the organization, while still being able to build connections. You combine independence with a collaborative attitude.

You'll recognize yourself in this

  • You have completed a bachelor's degree in business or economics
  • In addition, you have completed training in AO/IC or auditing (preferred)
  • You have experience conducting specialized internal controls or audits
  • You have an affinity for HR and financial processes (preferred)
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills

You are process-oriented, analytically strong, and meticulous in your work. You actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and know how to translate lessons from the past into structural improvements. Your sense of humor and adaptability help you operate effectively in a political and administrative environment.
