Theater Utrecht is looking for a passionate executive producer to join our team and management. As a company producer, you’ll serve as the connecting link between our creators, our team, and the outside world. You’re a master producer, read Excel as easily as you read the newspaper, and want to further apply your skills as an inclusive and unifying leader to a dynamic organization where quality and challenging the status quo are the norm.
About Theater Utrecht
Theater Utrecht is Utrecht’s municipal theater company. We view theater as a space to create room for new and diverse perspectives. We do not present a single face to the public, but under the leadership of General and Creative Director Anne Breure, we feature multiple voices through our resident artists. Starting with the new arts plan, these resident artists are Carolina Bianchi, Casper Vandeputte, Cherish Menzo, Floor Houwink ten Cate, Jaha Koo, and Naomi Velissariou. What all these artists have in common is that they make the personal political and move society with their work. Starting from personal engagement, all the in-house creators produce performances that move across disciplines and always seek the right form for the specific project. In this way, we move from theater or concert to dance performance to documentary and debate, or a mix thereof. We bring groundbreaking performances to the theaters and challenge the main stage.
About the commercial producer
