
The Netherlands Film Fund in Amsterdam is seekinga new chairperson, as the term of the current chair of the Supervisory Board will expire on October 1, 2024.
The Supervisory Board oversees the overall operations of the Film Fund from an independent position. The Board acts as the employer of the Executive Director and provides the Board of Directors with advice and guidance as needed.
The Supervisory Board also plays a monitoring role in ensuring that the organization’s objectives are met and oversees its financial position.
The Supervisory Board consists of seven members, including the chair, and is composed in such a way as to ensure that all necessary expertise is represented. The term of office for members is four years, with the possibility of a single reappointment for four years. The chairperson and members of the Board of Trustees are appointed by the Minister of Education, Culture, and Science upon the recommendation of the Board of Trustees.
The Board of Trustees and the Executive Board adhere to the Governance Code for Culture in their work. The Board of Trustees meets four times a year. Members receive an attendance allowance and reimbursement for travel expenses.
