Sportief Capelle is led by a director/manager. The Supervisory Board oversees the management’s policies and the general affairs of the company and is responsible for the duties assigned to it by the articles of incorporation or by law. In addition, it provides advice to the management and to the general shareholders’ meeting when requested or when it deems it appropriate. It also serves as a sounding board and sparring partner for the director and advises the director on strategic and major operational decisions.
The guiding principle for the composition of the Supervisory Board is that it should consist of generalists who complement one another in terms of knowledge and experience and together form a multidisciplinary team. The individual members are socially engaged, have an affinity for sports, and possess a relevant network that they utilize for the benefit of the organization. To ensure an optimal team composition, we are currently seeking a chairperson for the Supervisory Board of Sportief Capelle.
In order to properly perform the above-mentioned duties, a statutory auditor must possess the following competencies and expertise:
Given the demanding nature of the meetings—including both agenda discussions with the CEO and Supervisory Board meetings—it is also a requirement that a Supervisory Board member have sufficient time to fulfill the role fully and professionally. Appropriate compensation is provided for this purpose.
A member of the Supervisory Board may not hold any position or outside position that could lead to a conflict of interest.
