The SPIN Foundation, active in Amsterdam North, advocates a playful and positive approach to education and development, with a focus on children and their families. Since the appointment of a new executive director in 2023, SPIN has made significant strides toward professionalization. The development of a Positive Pedagogical Environment (PPE) plays a crucial role in this, through which the foundation contributes to safe, stimulating play environments that invite children to develop and interact. SPIN’s continued growth and development present both challenges and opportunities. The organization aims to strengthen its position within the region and further build ties with local partners and communities.
Supervisory Board
SPIN’s Supervisory Board plays an essential role in overseeing the board’s policies and the general affairs of the foundation. The board consists of six members and is responsible for ensuring the organization’s mission and vision are upheld. Vacancies will soon be available for the role of chair and two members, with specific areas of expertise in finance and legal/HR matters. For all positions, you must be socially engaged and have an affinity for social work, particularly with children’s services and community-based social work.
