We assist residents who are (temporarily) unable to support themselves by providing support in the areas of employment, income, and social integration. Entrepreneurs can turn to Stroomopwaarts for collaboration in the area of corporate social responsibility
As a member of the management team (MT), you will contribute to Stroomopwaarts’ overarching mission. You will work closely with the other unit managers and the director to ensure the comprehensive nature of our services and to foster further innovation within the organization.
As Income Unit Manager at Stroomopwaarts, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the unit’s strategic direction and make a lasting impact on the residents of our region and our organization. You will set the course for the Income unit, guided by a vision for government services and always keeping an eye on developments, such as changes in laws and regulations. You are skilled at aligning these developments with relevant stakeholders and translating them into concrete, achievable goals for your team. You are the linchpin who ensures clear internal communication about the strategy to be followed and builds support within the organization.
Leadership plays a key role in this position. You will have overall responsibility for managing the Income unit, which consists of a total of 200 employees, ensuring that both the production process and employee development run smoothly. You will create a work environment where people can develop and make the most of their talents to achieve team goals. You will provide direction to the unit’s management team and bear ultimate responsibility for achieving the agreed-upon results. With your understanding of the planning and control cycle, you will ensure a balanced budget and a streamlined process that leads to success.
As a member of the Management Team, you will also actively contribute to Stroomopwaarts’ organization-wide policy development. You take the lead on projects that span multiple units and contribute strategic insights regarding services for residents and the future of the organization. Innovation is key here: you initiate and coordinate innovations that advance our services. At the same time, you maintain close contact with municipal and external stakeholders to ensure administrative coordination and successful collaborations.
In short, in this versatile and dynamic role, you’ll be the one setting the course, inspiring teams, and fostering collaboration at all levels.
Do you recognize yourself in this description? Are you a strategic thinker with a keen understanding of administrative dynamics and experience in a politically sensitive environment? Have you achieved proven success in change management, and do you possess up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations within the social sector and the labor and reintegration market?
