Naturally, you have extensive experience in the field of audits, are able to quickly grasp financial figures, and are familiar with funding flows in the social sector.
For both profiles
In addition to the general qualifications required of members of the supervisory board, we place a strong emphasis on diversity when recruiting and selecting candidates for both positions. Diversity refers to the mix of differences among people, including demographic aspects (age, religion, gender, sexual diversity, culture), physical abilities, personality traits, educational background, fields of expertise, organizational culture, and more. Diversity is also reflected in the capacity for social innovation. This involves connecting different worlds, creating links between different systems or cultures, and bringing together previously separate traditions, fields of knowledge, social spheres, or networks. Social innovation and diversity are closely linked to Dynamo’s work in Amsterdam and align well with the culture and working methods of the board.

Our mission is to work with Amsterdammers to support their personal development, empower them to take control of their own lives, and build a strong social infrastructure. Major developments are taking place in the city that, in a broader sense, pose a challenge for Amsterdammers, such as the digitization of government services, (energy and intergenerational) poverty, inequality of opportunity in education and the labor market, and the housing shortage. At various crucial moments in life, there is a high risk of finding oneself in a vulnerable situation or becoming dependent on others. In addition, there will most likely be less care available for Amsterdammers in the near future, partly due to the aging population.
The coming years will be marked by a shift from medical to social care, from curative to preventive care, and a focus on talent development. Together with partners in healthcare, education, and social services, Dynamo aims to develop and implement impactful, innovative concepts with a social approach.
