It’s a key role, as you’ll help set the direction alongside your fellow managers, reporting to the Director of Social Services. You serve as a sparring partner for executives and a valuable member of the management team. As a Team Manager, you make an even greater social impact by increasing integration and strengthening collaboration across different policy areas. You look beyond your own team and work successfully together on municipality-wide challenges.

The 22 advisors at Team Leven maintain close contact with local partners such as the Regional Social Services Department, housing authorities, social service organizations, healthcare institutions, and neighboring municipalities. They are well-informed about national developments and translate these into concrete policy proposals and work assignments through their interaction with the aldermen responsible for social affairs.
As a Team Manager, you ensure that your employees continue to improve in their role as advisors to the executive board and the council. In doing so, you focus on your team’s resilience, professional maturity, and objectivity. Because you are someone who does not shy away from difficult conversations and stands up for your people when necessary, you help them advocate for their cause and develop into strong discussion partners.
