The Guided Programs Subdivision
of Public & Education is seeking, effective immediately, a:
Team Manager, Audience & Education (M/F/X)
Amsterdam, 36 hours per week

The many guided educational programs form the core of our educational
offerings. People are still the best interactive medium for connecting art and
history with our highly diverse audience. We strive to touch visitors
in both their minds and hearts.
What are you going to do?
As a team manager, you are responsible for the team of museum docents and the
delivery of guided programs to a diverse audience. Leading
the approximately 30 FTE staff members involves, among other things, monitoring and
ensuring quality, team building, coaching, and tracking absenteeism. You
advise our staff scheduling team and the Head of
Guided Programs Subdivision.
You will draft process plans, guidelines, and regulations and update them as soon as
the situation requires it. You will do this in close consultation with the Public
& Education, Front Office, and Security departments. Complaint handling is
also part of this role. In addition, you will oversee compliance with policies
regarding Guided Programs. Logistics is a real challenge! You are
responsible for ensuring a positive experience for participants in guided tours
and workshops for educational groups and the general public, without compromising the
experience of individual visitors. In this role, you will work closely with the existing
Team Manager(s)

Terms of Employment
Depending on education and experience, the salary ranges from a minimum of €2,940 to
a maximum of €3,849 gross per month based on a 36-hour workweek (scale 9),
excluding vacation pay and year-end bonus. The year-end bonus is
3.4% of the gross annual salary. In addition, travel expenses are reimbursed at 100%
for distances of 5 km or more. The appointment is initially for a period of one year, with the
intention of renewal.
