What are you going to do?

As Team Manager, you will support and lead the team of museum docents. The

The team of museum docents consists of about 70 people, who work with great enthusiasm

and expertise, welcoming groups every day for interactive tours and

workshops. With 225 programs for elementary and secondary schools, among others

schoolchildren, vocational students, families, businesses, adults, and experts make up the

museum educators bridge the gap between visitors, Dutch art, and

history and the social issues that are currently

You are the link between the museum docent, the planning department, and the visitors. You create

an open and professional culture within the team where people learn from and with

perspectives and areas of expertise within the team.

Together with the other two team managers, you are responsible for

monitor the performance of the museum educators, organize your work processes, and supervise the

museum docents working on the floor. Examples of your duties include

conducting daily briefings, recruiting and selecting new

museum educators, consulting with the planning department regarding changes to the

schedule, organizing the exchange of knowledge and expertise between

team members, monitoring training and qualifications, and conducting
