Are you

A born and seasoned manager? Do you have experience in leading and shaping

part of a new team? And above all, do you want to contribute to the value of

Interested in working at Pantar? Then we’re looking for you!

Pantar is the largest social enterprise in Amsterdam and Diemen. It is a vibrant and diverse organization that doesn’t view a disability as a limitation. At Pantar, you’ll find a job where you can make a real difference while continuing to develop your talents.

A glimpse into the world of this role

As a team manager and coach, you will report directly to the Director of People & Development (P&D). Together with your fellow team managers, the team manager specialists, the Senior HR Advisor, and the Director of P&D, you will form the Management Team of the P&D department.

Within Pantar, M&O is responsible for designing effective work-based learning programs and for providing guidance and leadership to employees through coaches. This is achieved by organizing and overseeing the onboarding, placement, development, advancement, and transition of employees who work at Pantar through a wage subsidy program or a specific work-based learning program. This can take the form of transition to the regular labor market or, for employees who require a protected workplace, through sustainable employment and optimal talent development.

As a team manager and coach, you will lead your own team of coaches in a motivating and inspiring manner. The coaches are responsible for developing and carrying out employer-related tasks for employees working at Pantar who are receiving some form of wage subsidy or participating in a program. As a team manager, you will coordinate the team’s activities and ensure that the team’s goals are achieved.

In addition, you will actively contribute to fostering effective collaboration with colleagues from other departments, developing policies, and translating them into your own team and area of work, as well as ensuring the implementation of innovative methods in the field of learning and development.

An ordinary company with extraordinary employees. A vibrant and diverse organization that doesn’t see a disability as a limitation. That is our strength.

In this role, you will be most successful if you have...

You have excellent communication skills, give your employees the freedom and responsibility to do their work within clear guidelines, and lend a listening ear when they need it. You also contribute ideas on how to further improve and professionalize Pantar and are able to put these ideas into practice.

You also hold a relevant associate’s or bachelor’s degree or possess a comparable level of professional experience and analytical ability. You have extensive experience in a management role. You combine a high degree of independence and initiative with a warm and clear leadership style. And you are enthusiastic about an organization in transition, with all the challenges and dynamics that come with it. Naturally, you have an affinity with our target audience.

Who are we?

Working at Pantar means working at a regular company with extraordinary employees. At Pantar, we believe that everyone has value. It doesn’t matter what you believe in, how old you are, whether you have a disability, where you’re from, or who you’re attracted to. We’re primarily interested in how you can contribute to our goals.

Pantar is undergoing a transformation. We are striving to become a better, more future-proof organization, with the goal of providing even better support to help people who face barriers to employment find work. At Pantar, you work both within and for the community.

Terms of Employment

In addition to the fact that you’ll be working for the largest (but above all, the most enjoyable) social enterprise in the greater Amsterdam area, Pantar offers excellent benefits, such as:

  • Salary: PGA pay scale 11 (maximum of €5,372 gross based on a 36-hour workweek). An Individual Choice Budget (ICB) of 17.05% that you can use as you see fit. Health insurance contribution and work-from-home allowance in accordance with the PGA.
  • Hours: You are available for 32–36 hours per week.
  • Work environment: An informal work environment where collaboration is key.
  • Hybrid work: At Pantar, you’ll work at our headquarters in Diemen, or—if necessary or preferred—at one of our work centers in Amsterdam, as well as (on a limited basis) from home. You’ll have the option to arrange your hours flexibly.
  • Leave: Do you work full-time? If so, you are entitled to 144 statutory hours and 43.2 additional hours of leave per year.
  • You can also purchase additional leave through the IKB. This helps you maintain a better work-life balance.
  • Travel: Pantar offers a mileage allowance.
  • Personal development: At Pantar, we value both your personal and professional development. We offer you the opportunity to participate in webinars, workshops, and in-house training sessions.

What do you think? Is this job a perfect fit?

We’d love to meet you! Please submit your application by December 9 at the latest using the application form on our website. If you have any questions, you can also contact Tjeerd van Raalte, Director of M&O, directly at 06-40016634 or tjeerd.van.raalte@pantar.nl.
