Who are we?
Dynamo encourages and supports Amsterdammers of all ages—from 0 to 100+—to get off to a promising start and actively participate in society. Our area of operation covers the Oost, Zuid, West, and Centrum districts. In the coming years, Dynamo will work with partners to strengthen its comprehensive range of services, which are tailored to the lives of Amsterdammers and the challenges in the neighborhood. The organization consists of three divisions: Childcare/Preschools, Welfare & Youth & Youth Work, and the Amsterdam East Neighborhood Team. In total, Dynamo employs approximately 400 staff members and 500 volunteers.

Wellness Team Leader, East
32–36 hours per week

We encourage residents to get involved in their community and provide resources to those who are committed to helping others.
What will you be doing?
As Team Leader for Well-being East, you enable the team of approximately 25 employees to perform at their best by providing inspiring and supportive leadership. You work with them to deliver high-quality services, taking into account the needs of residents, area analyses, and Dynamo’s priorities. You ensure that the performance targets agreed upon with the client are met, recorded, and accounted for. You monitor the results and quality of the work based on your budget and annual plan. By enhancing professional expertise and utilizing data to measure impact, you can better meet the demand. Through your knowledge and expertise, you ensure that the right decisions are made. You are a team player within your own team and work closely with other team leaders within Dynamo and the Amsterdam East Neighborhood Team to develop a comprehensive, area-specific service offering.
You will represent Dynamo to clients, formal partners, and informal networks. You will act as a strategic partner for the district and advocate for the interests of the grassroots community. You are able to handle administrative and social pressures and navigate easily between the various levels of the municipality.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
What do we offer?

- A one-year contract with the possibility of renewal
- The position of team leader is classified in pay grade 10 (with a maximum of €4,830) based on a 36-hour workweek
