As the team leader of the operations team within our Learning and Development department at Cordaan, you’ll work every day to build and manage a new operations team. You’ll establish structure, ensure efficient workflows, and help foster a service-oriented culture. A great challenge for you!  

What do we offer? 

The terms of employment for the position of Strategic Business Partner for Learning and Development are in accordance with the VVT collective bargaining agreement: 

  • A one-year contract for32 to 36 hoursper week, with the possibility of a permanent position. 
  • A salary ranging from a minimum of€3,768.00to a maximum of€5,477.00(FWG 60) based on a 36-hour workweek. 
  • An end-of-year bonus equal to 8.33% of gross annual income and an annual vacation allowance of 8%. 
  • Pension accrual through the Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn pension fund, a group discount on your health insurance, and travel expense reimbursement in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. 
  • Personal development through targeted training programs, courses, and education via platforms such as GoodHabitz. 
  • A €250 net bonus for referring a colleague! 
  • A bicycle plan and bicycle repair reimbursement. 

What will you be doing? 

As the Team Leader of the Learning and Development Operations Team, you are the driving force behind a customer-focused and service-oriented department. You understand that the success of an operations team depends entirely on a clear structure and efficiently designed processes. With your keen eye, you ensure that everything your team does optimally supports the organization and contributes to smooth and customer-friendly service. 

Your duties and responsibilities will include: 

  • Service-oriented and customer-friendly:You are committed to providing excellent service to the organization. Your team serves as the primary point of contact and ensures that internal clients always receive prompt and professional assistance. Customer focus and service are at the heart of everything you do. 
  • Creating a clear structure:You bring clarity and calm by designing processes that are simple and logical. Whether it involves scheduling, administration, or communication, you ensure that everything runs smoothly and can be immediately put into practice. 
  • Process Optimization:You are constantly thinking about how processes can better support operations. You always ask yourself:How can this be made simpler and more efficient?This allows you to create processes that are not only clear but also directly contribute to the organization’s goals. 
  • Operational clarity:You ensure that tasks, responsibilities, and expectations within the team are crystal clear. Everyone knows what needs to be done, when, and how, so that operations run smoothly. 
  • Hands-on involvement:You’re in the office every day, actively contribute to the team, and respond immediately to challenges. This makes you visible and allows you to both lead and provide support as needed. 
  • Step in when needed:if necessary, you’ll support your team in their day-to-day operations.

What will the operations team be doing? 

The operations team will serve as a support department that provides centralized services to the organization in a customer-focused and efficient manner. This includes managing schedules, streamlining administrative processes, and implementing innovative tools such as a service portal. You’ll have the freedom to work with the manager to determine how this team is structured and which processes will be centralized. This means you’ll have the opportunity to help build, from the ground up, a department that is essential to Cordaan

Who are you? 

We are looking for an energetic and hands-on professional who enjoys setting up, optimizing, and managing operational processes. 

  • You have a college-level education and way of thinking. 
  • You have experience in operational management, process management, or team leadership. If you don’t yet have experience as a team leader but have worked in a similar role, we’d love to hear why you’re the right candidate. 
  • You are customer-focused and work in a structured manner, with an eye for efficiency and quality. 
  • You are independent, proactive, and thrive in a role that you help shape yourself. 
  • You thrive in a dynamic work environment, adapt quickly, and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work. 
  • You will be in the office at least four days a week and see this as an opportunity to directly support your team and improve processes. 

Where will you be working? 

Cordaan’s headquarters are located in the Havengebouw, right next to Amsterdam Central Station. This new role offers plenty of room for your own input and ideas. Together with the manager, you’ll help build a department that’s not only central to our operations but also makes a real difference for our entire organization.
