Marketing & Communications Team Leader

We are currently seeking a:

Marketing & Communications Team Leader, and Member of the Management Team

for approximately 26 hours per week

Here's what you'll be doing:

• You will manage a team of approximately four people.
• You are responsible for the M&C policy.
• As a member of the management team, you contribute to policy development across the entire organization.
• Together with the management team members, you will work toward achieving the organization’s goals.
• If necessary, you will assist your team members in carrying out M&C tasks.

 This is you

• You can think strategically and know how to translate that into plans and actions.
• You have an eye for your employees' talents and know how to bring out the best in them.
• You have a coaching and collaborative leadership style.
• You maintain an overview of the work and are able to make decisions.
• As a member of the management team, you will serve as a discussion partner who contributes insights from your own field of expertise on cultural, political, and social developments.
• You can achieve coordination and consensus among the various departments on M&C issues.

What you'll need:

• Experience managing professionals or at least 3 to 4 years of work experience as a senior M&C staff member.
• You have a strong vision for M&C (policy) within a cultural organization.
• With your persuasive skills, you ensure that guidelines are followed and build support. 
• You have a clear vision for Diversity & Inclusion and can translate that into concrete actions for the organization.
• You're good at multitasking and can easily switch between different tasks, projects, and meetings.
• You can work on a project basis.

The M&C department is a close-knit team of 4 to 5 employees. Everyone has their own area of expertise, but is also versatile enough to take on a variety of tasks. The work atmosphere is friendly and informal.
