As Team Lead/Consultant for IT Network and System Administration, you’ll work with innovative technologies and lead a team of 25 specialists. Together, you’ll ensure a stable and secure IT infrastructure that is essential for the healthcare of tomorrow. What you will be doing

As Team Leader/Network and Systems Management Consultant, you will lead the team responsible for the core of our IT infrastructure. You will ensure that the hospital can always count on a stable and secure digital work environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 25 network and systems administrators and inspire them with your vision for IT infrastructure.
  • Developing and implementing technical roadmaps and lifecycle management strategies.
  • Ensuring a robust, secure, and future-proof IT landscape with a focus onthe cloud,
  • In addition, you will work closely with the Information Management & ICT Management team—covering security, storage, and network management—leadcomplex projects, and oversee major changes and escalations.
  • Advising andsupporting management, and in relevant situations the Board of Directors, and/or committee(s) or bodies on strategic, organization-wide issues
  • Achieving objectives within a specific domain or field, in line with the (organizational) vision and applicable laws and regulations, coordinating with stakeholders from other disciplines as needed. Clear presentation and/or reporting of research findings and recommendations.
  • Serve as an internal expert or the primary point of contact within a specific field, or as a representative of that field; serve as secretary or chair of a committee; or participate in committees within a specific field.
  • Resolving complex technical escalations and improving the continuity of IT processes.

This is where you'll be working

The Information & ICT (I&I) Department consists of:

  • ICT Operations (which you will lead);
  • Information management;
  • Business Intelligence;
  • EPD Management & Development;
  • CIO Office.

I&I sets the information policy and develops new IT solutions in close collaboration with healthcare professionals and management. This involves high-level technical challenges and gives you a key role in the success of digital innovations within the hospital—all within a 24/7 environment where the continuity of care must never be compromised.

Your talents

For this position, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic IT leader with a strong technical background and strategic insight. You have:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree level of education and work experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a complex organization such as the healthcare sector.
  • extensive technical knowledge of network and system administration, IT security, cloud technologies, and data center services; experience with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and ITIL processes; and the ability to analyze these for application within your own organization
  • knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, procedures, working methods, and guidelines.
  • knowledge of organizational and change processes, management principles, and project management.
  • the ability to make the right decisions under pressure and to effectively manage escalations.
  • strong communication skills and a coaching leadership style.
  • a proactive and analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • a reliable sounding board for team members, with a focus on collaboration and a well-managed, stable environment.

We offer you

We offer an independent and responsible position within an inspiring and technically challenging environment. Specifically, this means:

  • A gross monthly salary of up to€6,716 (FWG65) for a36-hour workweek, depending on your work experience and the scope of your contract.
  • A 7-month contract with the possibility of apermanent position.
  • A 32- to 36-hour workweek (withthe option of 4×9) in a hybrid work environment;
  • A 13th month's salary in December;
  • A pension plan through the Zorg & Welzijn Pension Fund (PFZW), in which the employer pays 50% of the premium;
