The role of Senior Project Developer is a new one and involves connecting the Real Estate department with the internal organization, project development, and knowledge sharing. You will organize the project portfolio and take on a number of (large-scale) projects yourself. The project development team is currently being built up and consists of a core group of project developers, supplemented by a flexible team depending on the project portfolio. With your broad knowledge of and experience in all aspects of area development, you will complement the young team and coach them. You will apply your well-developed soft skills when collaborating with various external parties and colleagues within Wooncompas.
Wooncompas, with over 100 employees, is a healthy, growing, and ambitious housing association with a passion for public housing. We are committed to providing a home for people with modest incomes or in special circumstances. A home that suits our tenants and gives them the space to shape their own living preferences. That’s how a house becomes a home. It’s just one letter difference, but for us and our residents, it makes a world of difference. In doing so, we focus on expanding our housing stock and providing exceptional service to our tenants. In other words: we go the extra (s)mile. Together, we are driven to continue making a difference for our tenants today and tomorrow. We do this with a human touch and a focus on our human capital. We are a values-driven organization that operates based on the core values of “people-oriented, connecting, and entrepreneurial.” We have big ambitions stemming from our social role and commitment. To realize them, we work closely together and give our professionals the space they need. That is why we are a flat organization, where everyone can contribute and where your input is valued.
Over the next ten years, we will invest approximately 700 million euros in renovation, sustainability improvements, acquisitions, and project development. As a result, our portfolio of approximately 10,000 rental units will grow to around 13,000 units in the coming period, primarily in Rotterdam. In doing so, we are contributing to the expansion of the housing stock. Together with portfolio management and asset managers, our project development team seeks innovative real estate solutions that align with demographic and public housing trends and the challenges of our time. This may involve innovative housing concepts, sustainability improvements, and circular construction, as well as innovative forms of procurement. Our project developers look beyond just the bricks and mortar. For us, it is important to also consider the social aspects, the implications for our tenants, and the impact on management and maintenance at an early stage of the design process.
Working at Wooncompas means working for an organization with a strong social policy. We focus on the individual employee and offer extensive training opportunities. We operate under the Housing Services Collective Bargaining Agreement (CAO Woondiensten) and, based on that, offer you an excellent package of benefits. The position is classified in pay scale M. This means we offer you a salary of up to €7,345 gross per month (based on a 36-hour workweek).
