You have (preferably) several years of experience in a similar role. You are fully familiar with MS Teams and Office, and you quickly master new systems. You are energetic, friendly, and flexible, with strong planning and organizational skills, and you have a service-oriented attitude. You work meticulously and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch and English. You can work well independently, but also function excellently when collaborating with your colleagues on the team. In addition, it is important that you interact courteously with external contacts and (internal) colleagues.
Together with your three colleagues, you will run the Service Bureau Secretariat. We discuss and divide up the daily tasks among ourselves every morning; these include handling phone calls (via Teams), processing emails and mail, and the associated correspondence. In addition, you provide secretarial support to the (heads of the) departments of the Service Bureau. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments and organizing meetings, reserving meeting rooms, arranging catering for various occasions, and keeping the common areas tidy. Your duties will also include (online) document management and digital archiving. This is a full-time position.
You have completed a relevant program at the MBO+ level. We enjoy regularly sharing knowledge within our team, and we’d love to hear from you when there are new developments in the digital field. If your eagerness to learn leads you to want to develop your skills further in this area, we have opportunities for that. Within the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK), support services are centralized within the Service Bureau, which consists of the following departments: Corporate Control, Central Administration and Procurement, IT, Information Management, Facilities and Management, HR and Research, Education, and Communications.
You’ll be joining about a hundred new colleagues at the Service Bureau. To support the various departments, there is a Service Bureau secretariat. The entire organization is led by the director of the Service Bureau. Our secretariat is a diverse team; we enjoy learning from and with one another. Once a month, we hold a team morning with the goal of, among other things, maintaining team spirit and exchanging knowledge on specific topics.
A great place to work at an exciting university of applied sciences in the heart of Amsterdam. We offer a one-year appointment with the possibility of extension. The position is classified in scale 7 in accordance with the CAO-HBO, generic job description: Management Support Staff-B (min. €2,411.30, max. €3,264.65 gross on a full-time basis). The starting salary depends on education and work experience. The AHK offers attractive terms of employment in accordance with the CAO-HBO, such as an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%, an ABP pension plan, travel allowance, and opportunities for study and professional development. If you work full-time, you are entitled to as many as 428 hours of leave. You can take these in consultation with your team, and we also determine your workdays in consultation.
