What does the role entail?
As an Account Manager – Events, you will be responsible for renting out Het Nieuwe Instituut’s spaces for corporate events. In doing so, you will generate revenue for the institute, attract relevant organizations from the worlds of architecture, design, and digital culture, and encourage attendance at exhibitions and activities.
You will contribute to the further development of venue rentals at Het Nieuwe Instituut, for example by building new relationships and developing and marketing services. In doing so, you will leverage Het Nieuwe Instituut’s offerings in the areas of guided tours, exhibitions, activities, research, and similar initiatives.
You will manage Workspace, the workspaces for creative entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial creatives. You manage the rental of the catering spaces in the foyer and at the Westkop, as well as the institute’s retail space.
In the Rental department, you are the central figure. You translate client requests into proposals and ensure that the necessary facilities, materials, and personnel are in place, all within the constraints of cost, quality, time, organization, and communication. You are an organizer and manage both the budget and the schedule. You work closely with colleagues involved in fundraising, sponsorship, and other donor relations.
