for our individual and collective health. The RVS is an independent
advisory body to the government and parliament. The Council consists of 10 members, including
Chairperson Jet Bussemaker. The Council is supported by a team of approximately 30
advisors and support staff.
The
The COVID-19, energy, and climate crises have heightened the social challenges in the
Focus on public health and society. Vulnerable groups
are being hit particularly hard, and inequality of opportunity in our society is on the rise.
The aging population, labor market shortages, and the future financing of
Healthcare presents significant challenges for the coming years. Challenges that
reach beyond the boundaries of existing fields and disciplines. The Council for
Public Health & Society (RVS) is seeking two new board members with a
extensive knowledge of the healthcare system, healthcare financing, and/or professional
experience in curative care.
The Council’s current work program for 2020–2024
has five social challenges:
Within these tasks, we formulate concrete
consulting projects, which we undertake at the request of, for example, a government agency or the House of Representatives
Take the initiative on our own. We see it as our challenge to
thereby introducing new perspectives, deepening, broadening, and
connect. In this way, we aim to make a meaningful contribution to
advancing social challenges for politics, policy, and
practice.
We are seeking, on behalf of the Minister of
Public Health, Welfare, and Sports: two council members who meet the following criteria

Terms of employment and
