The Royal Carré Theatre is renowned for its exclusive lineup of both national and international theater productions of the highest caliber. From circus to cabaret and from pop concerts to opera, Carré offers a unique theatrical experience for everyone. For over 135 years, 400,000 visitors have made their way to the theater on the Amstel every year to experience the magic of Carré. Are you ready to join the team at the most iconic theater in the Netherlands?
Carré is among the best in the theater world. The sector is in a state of constant flux, and to remain distinctive, we want to continuously develop, professionalize, and innovate. As an experienced Project Manager, you will not only help Carré maintain its post-COVID course but, above all, add value by proposing suggestions and solutions for areas where we can improve. In doing so, you will work on broad organizational projects that transcend various areas of expertise. Whether it involves making the historic building more sustainable, transitioning to self-service in the hospitality sector, or adopting a more data-driven approach across various disciplines: with your strategic thinking, you’ll explore possibilities, formulate clear objectives, and ensure projects are successfully implemented.
During management meetings, you will update the executive team on the progress of ongoing projects. You will make timely adjustments to prevent delays. You are able to switch seamlessly between strategic and operational levels. By keeping all stakeholders engaged and ensuring that each step in the process is properly documented, you will ensure that all specific objectives are met on time.
You have extensive experience in this or a similar position, combined with a college or university level of work and thinking, preferably a completed relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
No two people are alike. The Royal Theater Carré strives to foster an organizational culture in which everyone feels welcome and safe. All employees should be able to be themselves and be given the freedom and recognition to contribute to the theater in their own way. We endorse the Code of Inclusion & Diversity in the Cultural Sector—the Diversity & Inclusion Code.
