Democracy and Media (SDM) is firmly committed to universal values and fundamental rights
which form the foundation of the Dutch liberal democratic constitutional state.
Drawing on her history as the founder of the underground newspaper *Het Parool*, she is a strong advocate
to build support for these values and rights by contributing to
future-proof journalistic media and a dynamic and vibrant
democracy. SDM does this, among other things, by investing in organizations and
initiatives that strengthen the democratic rule of law and our political
challenge the system to be more open and fair.

We don't just ask what; we actually have
have something to offer. You’ll be working in a dynamic role within an informal and
a decisive work environment within a small organization of eight dedicated
employees. This means short lines of communication, direct feedback, but also rolling up our sleeves

We are looking for someone to fill this role for approximately 36 hours
can successfully work per week. Initially, we offer a
one-year employment contract, with the intention of extending it if performance is satisfactory
performance. The gross monthly salary
ranges from €3,500 to €4,800 based on 40
hours. In addition, you will receive an 8% vacation pay and a budget for
pension (to be used at your discretion). SDM offers a travel allowance
and we offer excellent training and development opportunities.
