The Amsterdam East Neighborhood Team launched on April 1, 2021, with the goal of supporting Amsterdam residents with questions about care, housing, health, work, finances, social activities, or safety. Citywide, we collaborate with the other six neighborhood team organizations to provide uniform services across all city districts, while taking into account the unique context of each neighborhood. The initial phase of launch and transition is complete, but we are still actively working with our partners and client. In the coming years, we will continue to collaborate with them on the transformation within the Social Domain.
What will you be doing?
This is a strategic role. As Product Group Manager, you will lead the entire Amsterdam East Neighborhood Team product group under the direction of the Director/Executive. In total, you will be responsible for approximately 135 employees (115 FTE) and approximately €13.6 million in annual revenue. You will directly supervise the team managers of the four neighborhood teams, the debt counseling team manager, the early intervention team manager, the intake team coordinator, and the network manager. You will achieve the operational, policy, financial, and personnel objectives for Buurtteam Amsterdam Oost and ensure that services align with market developments and requirements in both the short and long term.
Together with the Product Group Manager for Welfare, the Product Group Manager for Preschools, the Operations Manager, the HR Manager, the Executive Secretary, and the Director/CEO, you form the organization’s management team. Together, you set the course and direction for the entire organization and ensure a comprehensive range of services for Amsterdammers from 0 to 100+. In Amsterdam East, Dynamo works with area teams, within which disciplines from the various product groups collaborate to provide a comprehensive range of services for Amsterdammers. We aim to further strengthen this in the coming years, as outlined in our 2023–2026 strategy.
You will represent the Amsterdam East Neighborhood Team in city-wide meetings, such as the city management team of the joint neighborhood teams. In that capacity, you will also take charge of a number of city-wide portfolios. You will actively contribute to the transformation of the Social Domain in Amsterdam. To that end, you will maintain an extensive network.
