Do you love both the humanities and math, and would you like to help create a place where children and young people can find their voice, share their stories, and discover their talents?
House of Poems
Through creative writing, poetry, and spoken word, Huis van Gedichten gives children and young people the tools to express themselves—both in and outside of school. We are active in preschool, elementary, secondary (special), and vocational education, and organize talent programs such as Poetry Circle 070 and the Young City Poet. As part of the 2025–2028 Multi-Year Policy Plan for Art and Culture, we focus on cultural education, talent development, extracurricular expansion, and diversity & inclusion. We do all this from our new, vibrant location in GR8, which features a poetry shop and workshop space. Want to learn more? Check out our
policy plan on the website!
