IPABO University of Applied Sciences is looking for a new program manager. Would you like to contribute to the quality of elementary education by training professionals who are capable of marveling at the world and asking questions? Do you have experience in designing and leading inquiry-based and innovative education programs? If so, we look forward to hearing from you.
IPABO University of Applied Sciences is a specialized institution focused on elementary education, child care, and early childhood education. From our campuses in Amsterdam and Alkmaar, we share knowledge that addresses the needs of today and tomorrow—knowledge that the professional field is waiting for and that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible. That’s why we conduct practice-oriented research and work closely with elementary schools. Each year, more than 1,200 students enroll in IPABO’s full-time and part-time bachelor’s programs to become elementary school teachers, the university-level PABO program, and the Associate Degree in Pedagogical Educational Professional (Ad PEP). In addition, we offer programs for career changers, continuing education, and in-company training tracks.
Through open dialogue, we seek to connect with one another and the world around us, even when it is difficult. We take a holistic view of the field of study: students, research, education, and professional practice constantly influence one another. Together with the professional community, we educate students, conduct research, and collaborate on the “lifelong” development of (young) professionals.
As IPABO University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam and Alkmaar, we are a close-knit team. Through small-scale, student-centered education, we provide a rich learning environment that fosters wonder, connection, and deeper understanding. For more information about IPABO: mission and vision
