You will be part of the academy’s management team, which is chaired by the Director of Performing Arts, to whom you will report. There is close collaboration with the Maastricht Conservatory, other Zuyd (arts) programs in Maastricht, and external artistic and social partners.
You have a passion for theater and education and know how to bring these two worlds together. You foster innovation and collaboration in a dynamic environment where students develop into the performing artists of the future. You are a unifying leader who can provide clarity and stability to staff and students. You have strong language skills and communicate effectively, both internally and externally. You know how to inspire and energize the new direction.
You have a good sense of the field. You know the professional field from personal experience, have an eye for quality, and pay attention to the development of the teachers’ professional vision. You can make the connection between the program, the professional field, and the world.
Together with your fellow program manager, you will lead a dedicated team of faculty and support staff, focused on creating an inspiring learning environment for students. You will work closely with the administration and academic departments to continuously innovate our educational programs and align them with professional practice. As part of the management team, you will contribute to the academy’s strategic direction and the development of strategic plans for the programs.
